Borat Subsequent Moviefilm

WEAR MASK. SAVE LIVE.

After humiliating Kazakhstan with his first movie, Borat Sagdiyev (Sacha Baron Cohen) is released from a gulag and given a new assignment in the U.S.; his 15-year-old daughter (Maria Bakalova) comes along for the ride. The sequel to the outrageous 2006 Borat has the same satirical targets, even if Bush has been replaced with Trump. The COVID-19 crisis becomes a part of the story, but weā€™ve been down this road before. Bakalova is terrific, but it isnā€™t funny enough and the Rudy Giuliani set-up is an incredibly weak ā€revealā€.
