IF YOU’VE EVER BEEN TO A WILDER PARTY… YOU’RE UNDER ARREST.Ā
A clumsy Hollywood actor (Peter Sellers), who was just fired from a movie, is accidentally invited to a big party at a mogulās home. A classic comedy, the only one that Blake Edwards and Sellers made together that wasnāt part of the Pink Panther franchise. Much of it was improvised on location, which doesnāt come as a surprise considering how loosely structured the film is. Interestingly though, it can be seen as a younger generationās revolt against the conservative order, illustrated by a conflict between hippies and old movie moguls, with Sellers caught in the middle as a brown-faced Hulot. A stereotype, but still lovable and funny.
