THE BATTLE FOR THE LAWN IS ON.
10-year-old Lucas has a habit of attacking the anthill in his front yard; one of the ants concocts a potion that shrinks the boy down to their size. The man behind Jimmy Neutron (2001) delivered another movie for kids, but this one was quickly ignored. Not very funny, it also doesn’t have anything to separate it from Antz and a bug’s life. The script teaches the kids in the audience to respect those that are weaker than yourself, and there’s an amusing sequence involving a scary frog, but the lack of memorable characters is a liability.
