ROMULUS LEDBETTER LIVES ON THE EDGE. THE VIEW IS INCREDIBLE.
Romulus Ledbetter (Samuel L. Jackson), who lives in a cave in a New York park and suffers from delusions, finds a dead body and comes to believe not only that he was murdered but that he knows who did it. This one may not look like it, but it is a whodunit (complete with a finale where Ledbetter gets to explain the case a la Poirot) that also takes us inside the mind of one of those tragic, homeless people one occasionally sees in the streets. Jackson is good, although the character becomes a bit tedious after a while; unfortunately, the mystery suffers the same fate.
