HE’S HIP, HE’S COOL, AND HE’S ONLY 3 MONTHS OLD.
New York accountant Mollie Jensen (Kirstie Alley) becomes pregnant, but the married man she had sex with is out of the picture; maybe a childish cab driver (John Travolta) is a suitable replacement? One of the directorās biggest commercial hits was also a comeback for Travolta. The filmās main gimmick, where we can hear what baby Mikey is thinking (Bruce Willis providing his laidback voice), is never as much fun as one could hope. Still, Mikey is adorable and Amy Heckerling provides a female perspective that wasnāt exactly common at the time.
