WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE NUMBERS RUN OUT?
When a time capsule that was buried fifty years ago is opened at a school, a piece of paper is found that MIT professor John Koestler (Nicolas Cage) realizes predicts every major disaster in the future… Alex Proyas is certainly a creative and interesting director of sci-fi dramas, but he rarely hits the mark. This one is poorly paced and the emotional content isn’t as touching as the filmmakers were hoping for, but the movie does have heart-stopping action sequences and a few good ideas in its biblically inspired story.
