WHO-MONGOUS!
An elephant called Horton discovers something that rocks his world ā a speck of dust contains the entire miniature city of Whoville and all its citizens are in danger. Dr. Seuss’s second novel about Horton turned into a popular animated short feature in 1970, but this is a new, expanded version. There is nothing special here that sets it apart from most other contemporary animated films. However, the strength of the original story carries the film even in clichĆ©d, overly silly moments, and it’s hard to resist the funny, likable characters voiced by Jim Carrey and Steve Carell.
