OBEY THE RULES.
When Milo Tindle (Jude Law) arrives at wealthy crime writer Andrew Wykeās (Michael Caine) elaborate estate, he wants Wyke to grant his wife (Miloās new girlfriend) divorce but ends up as a pawn in a game.Ā This remake of the 1972 film has been considerably changed; the basic structure is there, but Harold Pinter has made the proceedings much darker, emphasized the theme of humiliation and tried to add more depth to the characters. As a result, it has been drained of all fun, even if the acting is very good, as expected.
