In a small village in Kosovo, three teenage girls (Flaka Latifi, Era Balaj, Urate Shabani) become engaged in petty crime, while waiting to see if university will be their way out. An impressive directing debut for Luàna Bajrami who was only a teenager herself when she made this film. The character she plays was clearly inspired by her own life, a girl who returns to Kosovo after growing up in Paris; not unexpectedly, the other teens regard her with envy and suspicion. A somewhat meandering but heartfelt depiction of young love and alienation in a sleepy, rural society and the constant threat that men pose.
