The Breyers (Elizabeth Banks, David Denman) raise a boy they found inside a spacecraft that crashed in their backyard… but one day he begins to change in disturbing ways. A horror movie that looks like a cross between Superman and The Omen, co-produced by James Gunn and written by his cousin and his brother. The absurd aspect of the story makes it hard to build emotions for the boy’s unfortunate parents and there’s a lack of imagination when it comes to the horror. Still, amusingly gory at times and the last half hour delivers.
