FROM THE BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF ALL TIME, COMES ONE OF HER PERSONAL FAVOURITE THRILLERS.
Private investigator Charles Hayward (Max Irons) tries to find out who murdered a Greek-British tycoon; thereās plenty of suspects among his family. A film adaptation of Agatha Christieās favorite novel should have been better considering co-writer Julian Fellowesās involvement and that cast. Itās unusual to see such a young detective in a Christie mystery, but Irons pales in comparison with Glenn Close, Terence Stamp and Gillian Anderson who do their best to pump blood into their characters. Not a bad story, but everything preceding its conclusion is much too sluggish.Ā
