Ghostbusters: Afterlife

After the death of her estranged father, Callie (Carrie Coon) moves with her two kids (Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard) to his house in Oklahoma, where his secrets and a supernatural threat will emerge. Unlike the 2016 Ghostbusters, this sequel does whatever it can not to rock the boat, desperately trying to reconnect with the 1984 original. Donā€™t look for novel ideas here, but Jason Reitman still handles his fatherā€™s legacy with a deft touch, creating a sweet, fun and well-paced adventure, with spirited visual effects, a very likable young cast and welcome cameos from the original stars.
