WITNESS THE BIRTH OF AN ASSASSIN.

Stephanie Patrick (Blake Lively), a prostitute in London, lost her entire family in a plane crash; then she learns from a journalist that it was actually a terror attack that’s been covered up. The James Bond producers deliver another thriller with secret agents, but this one is darker and more down-to-earth as we follow a young woman’s path to a dangerous new career. Lively is very good, barely recognizable, as the damaged Stephanie whose moves are understandably clumsy; we can all relate. Plotting and other characters are weaker though.
