U.S. Army Captain Natalie Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her troops are looking for missing soldiers in a vast desert when they are transported through a portal to a place where they find what theyāre looking for ā and monsters. After wrapping up their Resident Evil movies, Paul W.S. Anderson and Jovovich took on another video game, having fun with its premise for a new story. Veering into the excessively silly at times, the film has monsters to spare but no tension (or real laughs).
