The Undoing

NOTHING STAYS HIDDEN.

Manhattan psychotherapist Grace Fraser (Nicole Kidman) is intrigued by a beautiful, younger woman, Elena; soon, Elena’s found bludgeoned to death and Grace’s husband (Hugh Grant) is the prime suspect. An HBO miniseries that has pretty much everything money can buy, which it needs because there isn’t much going on under the hood. The story initially comes across as full of potential, but it has very little mystery to offer. Still, the cast (especially Grant) keep us thrilled and the upper-class environs are nicely realized.
