T‘WAS THE FIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS.
As Scott’s in-laws (Alan Arkin, Ann-Margret) visit the North Pole, he and his council of legendary figures are discussing sanctions against Jack Frost (Martin Short). The second sequel still benefits from the ingredients that made this franchise popular, and Short is a welcome addition as the naughty Jack; Arkin and Ann-Margret are also a well-needed shot in the arm. The story borrows from ”A Christmas Carol” and presents a gloomy alternative timeline where Scott never became the new Santa. All in all, fun but forgettable.
