Natalie Wood: What Remains Behind

THE GREATEST ROLES OF HER LIFE WERE BEHIND THE SCENES.

An obvious pet project from co-producer and our host throughout the film Natasha Gregson-Wagner, daughter of Natalie Wood and stepdaughter of Robert Wagner, who has two objectives: celebrate the legacy of her mother and clear her stepfather’s name. Robert Wagner walks us through what happened on the night Wood died in 1981; he and Natasha attack the media but the fact is that the mystery remains unsolved and the authorities reopened the investigation in 2018. That part of the documentary is what it is, but the portrait of Wood’s life and career is lovingly put together, with many stars providing insight.

2020-U.S. Made for TV. 100 min. Color-B/W. Directed by Laurent Bouzereau.

Trivia: Among those interviewed: Richard Benjamin, Dyan Cannon, Mia Farrow, Robert Redford, George Segal, Elliott Gould, Peter Hyams and Jill St. John.
