A MODERN DAY ROMANCE WITH A MEDIEVAL TWIST.
In the 1300s, a British knight (Josh Whitehouse) is magically transported to 2019 and an American small town where a teacher (Vanessa Hudgens) needs to learn that true love exists. A shamelessly silly romantic fantasy where much of the fun consists in the medieval knight trying to understand all the quirks and inventions of our times. Whitehouse and Hudgens are a cute couple and the film is tolerable enough, even if many details are grating, including the immaculate, impersonal Christmas decorations at Brooke’s house.
