Three mentally disturbed siblings live in an old mansion together with the family driver (Lon Chaney, Jr.) – who’s trying to stop them from committing too many murders. A cult classic that was released only after years of financial problems that had to be solved. The family are not monsters like the Addams brood, but scare nonetheless as rape and cannibalism is child’s play to them. Done on a small budget, the film is thoroughly twisted; the portrait of this family also has its satirical elements. Wonderful theme song, performed by Chaney, Jr. himself.
