Ace DIA assassin Henry Brogan ((Will Smith) is retiring, but soon realizes that he’s become a target – and the killer who’s after him seems to anticipate his every move… This action-thriller has the star fighting a much younger version of himself in a routine story about a secret cloning program. The film is a vehicle for the director’s desire to make 3D movies in a higher frame rate, with groundbreaking visual effects. The younger Smith looks eerily convincing most of the time; intense action, but hampered by the film’s ultra-crisp TV movie look.
