FIGHT LIKE YOUR WORLD DEPENDS ON IT.
This sequel to An Inconvenient Truth (2006) is a checkup call to see how the planet is doing a decade after the first film. Former Vice President Al Gore is still doing his slide shows, still trying to reverse the situation. You might think that the filmās tone would be more alarming, but Gore also finds plenty of positive things to say. The movie follows his work on the international negotiations leading up to the 2015 climate change conference in Paris and shows how difficult it is to reach consensus with developing countries who have legitimate energy needs. In the end, there was an agreement⦠but then came Trump. The film doesnāt have the impact of the first one, but itās substantive, well illustrated and benefits from Goreās charisma.
