THE WORLD’S LEADERS HAVE ASSEMBLED. SO HAVE THEIR ENEMIES.
When world leaders, including U.S. President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart), gather in London for the funeral of the British prime minister, terrorists attack the city in full force. The directorās first American film is a sequel to Olympus Has Fallen (2013) and itās just as preposterous. As the president and his closest Secret Service agent (Butler) try to dodge terrorists in London, thereās barely a moment that feels remotely plausible and the visual effects are very uneven. Still, itās the same over-the-top attitude that made the original fun, and the two leads are engaging in a corny way.
