HEADS UP. THEY’RE BACK.
Martin (Vegar Hoel), the sole survivor of a Nazi zombie attack in northern Norway, gets help from a trio of American amateur zombie hunters as the dead soldiers are raising new armies. If the first movie was Night of the Living Dead, this one is Dawn of the Dead, grander in scope and funnier. Uneven sense of humor; everything concerning the zombies is grotesquely entertaining, but the slapstick and banter in many other scenes is significantly weaker. On the whole, the film offers the kind of bloody mayhem that we expect. The last scene memorably combines Norwegian scenery with utter madness.
