I guess everyone who complained about Superman Returns (2006) can shut up now, because this is what the nerd rage led to ā a reboot of the franchise in the shape of a 3D blockbuster that spends one hour building a reawakened interest in the genesis story of Superman and then ruins everything with a cold, heartless and repetitive battle between our hero and the equally strong villain that goes on for well over an hour. Michael Shannon, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner are well castā¦ but this is no Batman Begins.
