One of director Woody Allen’s films that are set in Britain, this one following multiple characters and their romantic tribulations. A fortune teller is at the center of it all and we get to ponder the foolishness of thinking that the grass is greener on the other side, illustrated to greatest effect by Josh Brolin’s character who can’t stop thinking about the sexy woman he keeps seeing from his bedroom window. Amusing, funny at times, and the cast delivers (including several internationally lesser known Brits)ā¦ but awfully familiar.
