When in Rome

ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND ROME.

Guggenheim art curator Beth Martin (Kristen Bell) is in Rome for a wedding when she happens to pick up a coin from a “fountain of love”; back in New York City, she learns that a lot of men are falling hopelessly in love with her. A fairly disastrous romantic comedy from the director of Daredevil (2003) that relies on Bell’s charm and the crazy antics of her colorful suitors. Unfortunately, the romance is too stupid to care for and every joke and gag is either boring or clumsily staged.
