SAFETY NEVER TAKES A HOLIDAY.

The amiable, overweight mall cop Paul Blart (Kevin James) dreams of a career in the New Jersey State Police and spends his days trying to woo the lovely Amy (Jayma Mays)… but then robbers strike at the mall. The first movie to be carried by James on his own became a surprise hit – and everybody involved should be thanking him, because there isn’t much else in the movie to enjoy. The romance and the whole Die Hard spoof in the second half come up short compared to James’s friendly, funny, physical comedy.
