YOUR SENSES WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.
This movie version of the famous Who rock opera is primarily for die-hard fans of the band and director Ken Russell. Those who are not may agree with the tagline, but in a negative way. The story of how a ādeaf, dumb and blindā boy grows up to become a pinball champ and the leader of a cult is of no interest, but offers Russell a chance to stage one overwhelming, sometimes provocative, music video after another. Tiring after a while, but Ann-Margret is certainly game and some of the rock acts are outstanding, especially Elton Johnās.
