The Kennedys

thekennedysYou might say that we’ve already read too many books and watched too many TV movies about the Kennedys… and you would be right, because this miniseries brings nothing new to the table. There was much controversy surrounding the production, but in the end all the brouhaha was for naught. 24 veterans Jon Cassar and Joel Surnow’s take on the family addresses all the main issues in a conventional but fairly engaging way, with Greg Kinnear in a convincing turn as the 35th President. The dialogue is a bit obvious; The Kennedys is primarily for complete novices. Ā
