FOUR NATIONS, ONE DESTINY.

The Fire Nation threatens the Earth, Wind and Water nations, but there’s hope in the shape of a young boy (Noah Ringer) who can bend all the elements. M. Night Shyamalan’s adaptation of the animated TV series Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005-2008) hits a new low for him. The young actors in the leads deliver uninvolving performances, the visual effects are only so-so, the 3D is completely pointless and the story dull beyond words. Sole virtue: James Newton Howard’s score.
