Jane Nichols (Katherine Heigl) loves weddings and has been a bridesmaid 27 times; when her sister (Malin Åkerman) arrives in town, Jane is helpless to watch Tess sink her claws into the man she secretly loves. A romantic comedy that’s meant to be a vehicle for Grey’s Anatomy star Heigl as she tries to break into movies, but the script couldn’t be thinner or more formulaic. Think Jane will end up falling for James Marsden’s cynical writer who hates weddings? Still, not unpleasant to watch and we should thank the cast for that.
