WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER.Ā
Siblings Ellie and Jimmy Myers (Christina Ricci, Jesse Eisenberg) are bitten by a werewolf and spend the rest of the movie trying to break the curse, as well as finding out who gave it to them. The Wes Craven-Kevin Williamson duo took their hands off this project; the final results are OK, but hardly another Howling. Fans of Scream (1996) might appreciate the similarities, but they might also resent the lack of imagination. Thereās a few thrills, but the final half-hour becomes too repetitive and drawn-out. The CGI werewolves are less than impressive.
