The Munros are not really a family of campers, but Bob (Robin Williams) buys an RV and forces everybody to go on a trip togetherā¦ and it turns out that he has a hidden agenda. A comedy that was unfairly panned by critics, even though Williams is in good shape, the supporting cast is amusing and the film never turns mean-spirited or tasteless. There’s funny stuff here… but no originality whatsoever; it is largely a rip-off of the Vacation films. After a while, the physical comedy also tends to wear out its welcome.Ā
