LAUGH. CRY. SHARE THE PANTS.
Four girls find a pair of jeans that fit them all; they decide the pants are magical and share them as a good-luck charm during the summer holiday. A charming adaptation of Ann Brashares’s bestseller; this is perfect fodder for teenage girls. It’s not a story about magic: the jeans work as an incentive, an excuse, for the girls to make positive things happen, to change their lives. We follow the characters as they spend summer in four different places and the experience is warm and not without substance. One advantage is the performances of the four leads.
