THE GOOD. THE BAD. AND THE DEADLY.
Alcatraz is open for business again, but a gang of criminals attack the prison, hoping to learn where they can find $200 million in gold. After making Exit Wounds (2001) with rap star DMX, Steven Seagal once again joined forces with a representative from the hiphop community, Ja Rule. Sloppy and silly, this movie features poorly directed action sequences and pathetic attempts at profundity. Seagal’s fight scenes are impossible to believe in.
2002-U.S. 99 min. Color. Directed by Don Michael Paul. Cast: Steven Seagal (Sascha Petrosevich), Ja Rule (Nick Fraser), Morris Chestnut (Donny Johnson), Nia Peeples, Bruce Weitz, Tony Plana… Mo’Nique.
Trivia: Co-produced by Seagal.
