HE’S A COP THAT’S NOT. BELIEVE THAT!
Jewel thief Miles Logan (Martin Lawrence) pretends to be a cop in order to get inside a police precinct where a valuable gem is hidden. I guess we can all appreciate Lawrence as a con man with a heart of gold and a motormouth, but his character is alarmingly empty and the jokes surrounding this criminal who can’t get used to being a cop are not that funny. Energy is not what the film is lacking, but the story is really farfetched and we should be too busy laughing our asses off to even notice.
