TOUGH COP. HOSTILE WITNESS.
Cop Jack Carter (Damon Wayans) is forced to go on the lam with a small-time crook (Adam Sandler) after both are marked for death by a drug-smuggling car dealer (James Caan). This update of 48HRS (1982) is very far from reaching the heights of the original; all clichés imaginable pile up. The two leads are a monotonous couple that betrayed each other at a previous point in their relationship. Wayans complains about being shot in the head, which has to be an experience similar to watching this movie.
