EARTH HAS A DEADLINE.
The Earth is about to stop spinning and an expedition prepares to drill itself all the way to the core of the Earth to jump-start the old girl… Preposterous. That’s about the nicest thing I have to say about the script, but fortunately everyone involved has a good sense of humor about it. The journey beneath the surface of our planet offers a few interesting sequences, but this disaster movie is overlong and predictable. Those landmarks destined for annihilation this time include the Golden Gate Bridge and the Colosseum; worth a look as always.
