Former hairdresser Pat Pitsenbarger (Udo Kier) leaves his nursing home and goes on a journey to perform one last service to an old customer. The director returned to his Ohio for a movie about gay culture from a senior perspective. Inspired by a real-life hairdresser who meant a lot to him, the film is a tribute to the kind of lifestyle that is unapologetically flamboyant and not trying to adapt to a straight, family-friendly culture. Coasts along thanks to Kierās magnetic performance, but itās little more than a predictable call to find oneās āinner divaā.
