THE WORLD NEEDED A HERO. THEY GOT A GUY.
Bank teller Guy (Ryan Reynolds) goes through his routines every day, blissfully unaware that he’s a non-player character in a video game… but then he starts deviating from his programming. A terrific idea lies behind this comedy that blends fiction with real life as players and video game characters start interacting and become part of a battle between idealistic game developers and coldhearted corporate leaders (a very annoying Taika Waititi). Entertaining, creative and action-filled, with a perfect part for Reynolds who finds a lot of humor in his Truman Show-type bank teller.
