BORN LEADER.
When a new baby arrives, seven-year-old Tim resents the competition and soon learns that his brother has a hidden agenda. A crazy and convoluted story, involving a corporate tycoon’s scheme to get back at a company that produces babies, constantly threatens to derail this lively adventure for kids, but it helps to think of the entire movie as the result of Tim’s imagination. Surprisingly ambitious and endearing at times, its sentiments colliding with sillier moments, but a fun ride all in all. Alec Baldwin is the right choice to voice the cocky toddler in a suit.
