Humdinger is elected mayor in Adventure City and causes one disaster after another; fortunately, Ryder and his team of rescue dogs also journey to the city to save the day. If you’re a kid or a parent, you’re likely familiar with the global TV phenomenon known as PAW Patrol (2013- ). This film adaptation has more spectacular visuals, an appealing sweetness and relatable themes… but the Trump-like mayor’s mishaps are too repetitious and better jokes would have made the movie more enjoyable.
