Patrick Hill (Jason Statham) is hired by an armored truck company, barely passing the tests; however, the first time his truck is robbed, he turns out to be a man of exceptional talents. The fourth film Guy Ritchie and Statham made together became one of their best, a white-knuckled action-thriller divided into four chapters where we learn the background and motivation behind Statham’s mysterious character and follow his quest for revenge. Very violent but artfully directed and it certainly delivers heart-pounding tension in many sequences, aided by a well-chosen cast and a Morricone-esque music score.
