As London is in the middle of a COVID-19 lockdown, Linda and Paxton (Anne Hathaway, Chiwetel Ejiofor) confront their deteriorating relationship and the potential of a jewel heist. The kind of film weād perhaps like to forget all about in the future, as it captures all the annoying and depressing quirks of the COVID-19 pandemic. Iām sure the project would have benefited from a more careful approach; the shooting was so rushed the two leads barely had time to learn their lines. The cast is fine, but this romantic comedy/heist flick feels too aimless.
