THERE’S A UNIVERSE BETWEEN ALL OF US.
In 2049, Earth is collapsing because of a mysterious global disaster; in the Arctic, a lonely scientist (George Clooney) tries to contact a space mission… Clooney said he thought of this project as a cross between Gravity and The Revenant; the similarities lie in the settings, but this movie completely lacks the impact of those masterpieces. The themes are timely for a film premiering in the middle of a pandemic and climate change crisis. Boasting great visual effects, moments of tension and a good music score, the film has a fine cast, but far too little to say in the end.
