NOBODY WINS SOLO.

In a small Icelandic town, Lars Erickssong (Will Ferrell) and his best friend (Rachel McAdams) prepare to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest; after a freak accident, they are selected as Iceland’s official entry. Made in collaboration with the ESC organizers, this silly comedy shares many traits with previous films by Ferrell; much like the ESC itself, it has an absurdly overlong running time. Few laughs, but enthusiastically performed – and there’s a delightful scene with cameos from many previous ESC winners.
