Marty Duran (Beau Knapp), who’s working as an analyst for a Manhattan bank, is sent to his home town where he learns that a local art gallery is involved in criminal affairs… He also has to deal with his sullen brother and father (Luke Hemsworth, Kurt Russell) who resent the fact that he left their potato farm many years ago. The film tries to be effective as both a thriller and a family drama, but fails at both. No real tension, and the look of the film is as cold and remote as Knapp’s performance. Having familiar faces in the cast helps.

2019-U.S. 105 min. Color. Widescreen. Directed by John Stalberg, Jr. Cast: Beau Knapp (Martin ”Marty” Duran), Alexis Bledel (Katie), Luke Hemsworth (Caleb Duran), Jeremie Harris, Jill Hennessy, Kurt Russell.
