HE’S MADE A FRIEND.

After a traumatizing incident, Liza (Katie Holmes), her husband (Owain Yeoman) and son (Christopher Convery) temporarily move to the countryside… where they make an eerie discovery in the woods. The sequel to The Boy (2016) comes up with new characters but maintains a connection to the events (and house) from the original movie. It’s a nice try, with the doll showing its new family who’s master of the house… but in the hands of these filmmakers we’re always denied decent shocks.
