WE’RE BACK, PITCHES.
After a performance that becomes a national disgrace, the Bellas aim for revenge by competing at the World Finals in Copenhagen. The sequel lacks the freshness of the original, but fans will find enough to enjoy here, not least in the joyously silly contests (including an underground riff-off hosted by David Cross). Anna Kendrickās role as an outsider in the a cappella world has been replaced by Hailee Steinfeld, but the film doesnāt really do anything interesting with that. Very uneven.
