Terminator: Dark Fate

The sixth film continues a franchise tradition: serving up impressive action just like its predecessors, but also disowning them at the same time. This one continues two decades after Terminator 2 (the only sequel fans agree on as worthy). Skynet never happened, but another war did take place; a new deadly machine goes after a young woman (Natalia Reyes) in Mexico City, but faces resistance from a couple of familiar faces and a soldier (who’s part cyborg) from the future. The script has a few fresh ideas and both older and younger generations are engaging to watch.
